Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Praxeon Equity Partners LLP uses personal information received through this website and in the course of business correspondence.

Who we are

Praxeon Equity Partners LLP is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. Praxeon is registered in England and Wales under LLP number OC458128.

Registered Office: 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, United Kingdom, WC1N 3AX.

Information we receive

If you email or otherwise correspond with Praxeon, we may receive information that you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company, role, the contents of your correspondence and related communications.

Normal website hosting and security infrastructure may also generate limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and request information, requested pages, timestamps, and server, diagnostic or security logs. The website does not use a contact form, user accounts, a database or a newsletter sign-up.

How and why we use it

We may use personal information to respond to enquiries, discuss potential engagements, take requested steps before entering into an engagement, manage business relationships and correspondence, operate and secure the website, investigate technical or security issues, and comply with applicable legal obligations or protect legal rights.

Depending on the circumstances, our lawful bases are our legitimate interests in conducting and protecting our business, responding to relevant business enquiries and managing professional relationships; taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; and compliance with legal obligations.

Sharing and service providers

We use service providers necessary to operate our business and website, including GoDaddy for website hosting and Microsoft 365 for email. These providers may process personal information on our behalf in accordance with their contractual and legal obligations. We may also share information with professional advisers, courts, regulators or public authorities where reasonably necessary or required by law.

We do not sell personal information.

International processing

Some technology and service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this involves a restricted international transfer, we rely on a lawful transfer mechanism, such as UK adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards, as required.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, taking account of the nature of the enquiry or relationship and relevant legal, accounting, record-keeping, security and dispute-resolution requirements. We then delete or anonymise it where appropriate.

We take proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, while recognising that no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to be informed and to request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

To ask a question or exercise a right, email info@praxeon.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
